EQUINE EMERGENCY FIRST AID KIT
Designed by our Equine Vets to give the horse owner the optimum equipment to deal with any emergency that may arise. These first aid kits are ideal for taking to shows or for keeping in the yard. They contain the basic essentials to be able to administer first aid to your horse.

The kit comes with a check list to help you re-stock once items are used, along with a quick guide to normal temperature, pulse and respiration rates. There is plenty of space in the box to add additional items of your choice. Replacement items can be purchased from the surgery

The kits are usually available from stock in the Farm Shop at the surgery costing £44.65 (£38.00 + VAT). Call 01608 730085 to place an order.

SMALL ANIMAL FIRST AID KIT
Following the success of our Equine First Aid kit and the popular interest shown in her Companion Animal First Aid seminars, Small Animal vet Kathryn Gander has launched a first aid kit specifically for small dogs and cats.

Like the equine equivalent, the kit comes with a check list to help you re-stock once items are used, along with a quick guide to normal temperature, pulse and respiration rates. The kits includes a range of pads, bandage, Vetrap, sterile swaps, 2 sizes of syringe, antibacterial Hibiscrub, 4 antihistamine tablets, 2 sizes of tick remover, curved blunt ended scissors and a digital thermometer. The handy 3 litre carry box has room for your own additions and replacement items can be purchased from the surgery. Each kit costs £30.00 (including VAT).

The kits are usually available from stock at Hook Norton, or can be collected from the Charlbury or Deddington branch surgeries if arranged in advance.

HORSE WEIGHING SERVICE

Please note that advance notice of your visit is required. A time slot can be booked with the large animal receptionists (01608 730085).
