Partner and Practice Principle. Farm & Small Animal Vet. Joined the partnership in 1985.

Simon D Richards BVSc, OVS, MRCVS
Partner. Equine Vet. Joined partnership in 1995.

Gary Jennings BSc, BVetMed, MRCVS
Joined the practice in 2005, to help run the Hook Norton and Charlbury surgeries.
Gary became a Partner in March 2008, with responsibility for the Small Animal department

J Alan Walker BSc, MA, PhD, VetMB, DER, MRCVS
Consultant for the practice. Former Partner and original founder of the practice, Alan retired from the partnership in 2006.

Jacek Bobkiewicz DipVS, CertEqMed (Warsaw), MRCVS
Joined the practice in 2005 to help run the Equine Department. Originally working out in Saudi Arabia, Jacek has bought with him a wealth of experience and has set up our colic surgery service. Appointed Director - Equine Hospital in September 2007.

Juliet Owens MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Farm & Small Animal Vet. Joined the practice in 2002 and covers our Deddington and Hook Norton clincs.
Juliet puts pen to paper each month to produce our farm newsletter, providing clients with up to date information and advice on topical healthcare issues.

Fiona Nobbs BVSc, MRCVS
Joined the practice in 2005 to assist within the equine department.

Victoria McGregor BSc, BVM&S, MRCVS
Equine Vet. Joined the practice in 2003.
Returned from maternity leave in March 2008 and now works part-time.

Victoria Copas MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Joined the practice in July 2006, following graduation from Cambridge. Has a mixed clinical role within the equine, small animal and farm departments.

Helen Taylor MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Joined the practice in September 2006 following graduation from Cambridge. Primarily involved with farm work, and assists within the equine department. Helen has responsibility for herd health plans.

Jan Guilbride MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Jan joined the practice in 1989 and is based almost entirely at the Hook Norton surgery. She has an interest in most areas of general practice, but surgery in particular.
Jan has helped establish many of the additional services the Small Animal Department offers, including puppy parties and dental clinics, and most recently, the senior dog health check clinics.

Pauline Tolhurst BVSc, MRCVS
Joined the practice in 2006. Covers clinics at the Charlbury surgery and also at Hook Norton. Pauline is a member of the Association for British Veterinary Acupuncturists.

Kathryn Gander BVSc, MRCVS
Joined the practice in September 2007 to cover clinics at both Hook Norton and Charlbury. Kathryn has an interest in dermatology.

Bella Clarkson MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Small Animal Vet. Joined the practice in 2003. Bella now works part time following her return from maternity leave in January 2008 and is based mainly at the Hook Norton surgery.

Sam Baldwyn BVSc, MRCVS
Sam first came to Hook Norton to see practice when he was at Liverpool University. On his graduation in July 2007, he joined on a temporary basis to help cover maternity leave. Sam is now a permanent member of the Farm and Equine veterinary team.

Nurses
The nursing team is headed by Vicki Harrington who also runs our Pet Behavioural clinics and Laboratory. Assisting her are our two Deputy Head Nurses Sophie Williams and Chloe Watson along with 6 other nurses; Fran, Debbie, Daisy, Jill, Lisa and Liz who provide essential support to the veterinary team. We run specific nurse clinics as well as dental checks, pet health counselling and puppy parties.

Equine Clinic
Assisting in the equine department and responsible for the care of all our equine inpatients are Sarah Aston, Jenny Yerbury and Laura Bennett.

Management
Tony Udall, our Practice Manager, joined the team in 2005.
Lucy Warner, Projects Manager, has been with the practice since 1994.
Both work closely with the Partners to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice.

Accounts and Office
A very busy department. Ernie Parsons is responsible for the practice accounts and payroll. Jean Laycock oversees the client accounts and payments, whilst Jane Cruse co-ordinates all office admin and debt control.

Large Animal Reception & Farm Shop
Run by Liz Harwood and Nikki Inglis and assisted by Alex Merrick. They ensure the smooth running of the Equine and Farm Vet diaries and are responsible for all our Farm Shop sales.
Both Liz and Nikki are AMTRA qualified, and Liz has also set up an Ear Tagging sales system for our farm clients.

Small Animal Reception
This is covered by 4 receptionists; Val Prew, Sharon Allen, Jill Hopcraft and Carole Hazleton. They run a computerised appointments system, cover duties in the dispensary and oversee waiting room and pet food sales.

Charlbury Reception
A busy branch surgery in Charlbury, covered by 3 receptionists; Claire Whitaker, Jane Coverdale and Sarah Wiggins and assisted by Eva Mason as clinic assistant. Emma Carroll, is our Branch Veterinary Nurse at Charlbury.

Deddington Reception
Lavinia Crowther and Sarah-Jane Courage (S-J) help run the newest of our branch surgeries at Deddington which opened in 2006.
