I qualified from Bristol Vet School in 2015 and have worked in mixed practice ever since, firstly in Bedfordshire and then in East Sussex. Coming from a farming family, it’s no surprise that my love of farm work quickly developed, and I found myself spending as much time out of the practice as I could get away with! I love working alongside farmers, making plans together to meet each farm’s individual needs. I learn as much from farmers as they do from me, and I strongly believe in a team approach. Beef and sheep have been my main focus for the last few years, and I can’t wait to get my hand (or whole arm!) back into the dairy work.
Outside practice, I’ll generally be found out on my road bike (trying not to hold up tractors) or creating a flour explosion in the kitchen.
