As the Stud season looms, many of you may be thinking about which mares you would like to put in foal, and to whom! Whether you own a Thoroughbred stud or want to breed for the first time from your mare we offer very competitively priced equine stud package. We are able to offer both Stud and Artificial Insemination packages and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Our highly proficient team, headed by Sam Cutts, has a wealth of experience scanning mares and with natural, chilled and frozen insemination, as well as synchronising mares and recipients for Embryo Transfer. We are also able to receive and store frozen semen at the Surgery for mares coming to the clinic for insemination.
WHAT DOES A STUD PACKAGE INCLUDE?
Our stud packages include both natural cover* & AI (chilled or frozen**) for £226.63+VAT per cycle. This includes all visits and scans up to heartbeat.
*Natural thoroughbred cover requires a pre-breeding cervical swab.
**Frozen AI requires careful timing of insemination, and needs to be performed at the clinic, both of which incur a small additional charge – please contact us for more details.
