Our monthly puppy checks enable a nurse to check the weight and condition of your puppy, making sure that they are growing at the correct rate. It is also a fantastic chance for them to socialise and get used to the practice. Our Small Animal Reception Team can be counted on to have a stock of treats handy for any nervous pup!
Normally puppies are wormed monthly > 6 months of age. Because they are continually growing, weighing them every month enables us to check if the dosage needs changing for parasite treatment/prevention (providing your puppy has been clinically examined by one of our vets and they have authorised a repeat prescription of wormer/flea treatment).
