A new pheromone spray, FerAppease, can be utilised for its calming effect when animals are exposed to any management or physiological stressor. The decreased stress on the animals not only aids with handling but also in maintaining daily live weight gain during prolonged periods. The product effects last up to two weeks, depending on its application.
Situations where its use is highly applicable include: calving, weaning, castration, dehorning, vaccination, TB tests, movement of fractious animals, transport, etc.
