Hospitalisation and Isolation Facilities

The Hook Norton branch is proud to be an RCVS accredited veterinary hospital. To maintain this title we are submitted to regular rigorous examinations of the premises and facilities.

Our hospital includes separate wards for cats/small mammals, and dogs. We have kennels in a range of sizes to fit small to giant breeds. A dedicated inpatient nurse monitors the animals throughout the day and night, and hospitalisation sheets are completed for every inpatient detailing their illness and treatment, and monitoring their vital signs. The pets are kept warm, comfortable and clean, and the dog are walked out frequently.

Visits to see your pets during their stay can be arranged and owners are able to speak to the vet in charge of their pet on a regular basis.

We have a modern isolation facility situated away from the main hospitalisation ward which is essential for animals with contagious diseases, such as gastroenteritis or respiratory infections. This prevents us suffering from outbreaks of disease in our hospital.
