Soft Tissue Surgery

Our team of small animal surgeons perform both routine and emergency soft tissue surgery procedures in our surgical suite at the Hook Norton hospital. Operations can range from routine spays/castrations to life-saving intestinal surgery and caesareans.

Pets undergoing surgical procedures are constantly monitored by qualified veterinary nurses and our operating theatre is equipped with up-to-date anaesthetic monitoring devices. On recovery, patients continue to be monitored and cared for in the hospital for the remainder of their stay.

Post-operative checks are scheduled to ensure your pet continues to recover from their surgery once they have gone home. Any tissue samples taken during surgeries are couriered overnight to an expert laboratory to be analysed as quickly as possible.

Minor surgical operations can also be performed at our Charlbury, Deddington & Moreton-in-Marsh branches.
