Bella Clarkson

Associate Director - MA, VetMB, MRCVS

Bella qualified from Cambridge in 1998 and has worked at Hook Norton since 2003.

“Having grown up on a busy dairy farm with a large variety of farm and domestic animals, it was always obvious that I would become a vet. I’m not sure when I actually decided.

I specialised in companion animals on arriving at Hook Norton and still enjoy meeting owners and the challenges of diagnosing and treating their pet’s problems. Dogs and cats improve the quality of our lives so much and I am very happy to be able to help owners keep them fit, healthy and active. I am especially interested in soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.

When not at work I am generally running around after three busy children, tending our three dogs, two cats, Buff Orpington chickens or exercising our numerous horses/ponies. We have a small breeding flock of White Faced Dartmoor sheep and plan to start keeping bees soon.”
