Nancy Homewood

Associate Director, BVetMed, CertAVP, MRCVS

Nancy joined the Equine Team in 2010 and became an Associate Director at HNVG in January 2022. She has a keen interest in equine sports medicine and the health of the racehorse. Nancy is one of our duty vets at Stratford Race Meetings and covers local points and events. She is also our official JMB measurer. In 2017, Nancy completed her Post Graduate RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.

Nancy has volunteered for the Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust in both 2015 and 2018, where she treated sick animals in The Gambia and helped educate owners, para-vets, and students about animal welfare. In 2019 Nancy joined the ‘Vets With Horsepower‘ Team, a group of well established equine vets who provide CPD around the world to other vets and students, raising money for charities by doing so. Nancy enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work, particularly internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dentistry. She is also qualified to treat horses with Acupuncture for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
