Today marks 75 years since the guns fell silent, marking the end of Europe’s war. So whilst we celebrate at home, we must remember those that showed courage and determination, to sacrifice everything for the future of their families and country, for the eventual arrival of peace in Europe.
As vets and a nation of animal lovers, we also remember the sacrifice of millions of animals that died transporting goods, artillery, messages, and much more.
To all those at home and abroad that undertook and endured so much during WW2, you are not forgotten.
