Here at Hook Norton we are committed to clinical excellence. Did you know that every general anaesthetic and operation that is done here is clinically audited? This allows us to deliver the highest possible standard of care. Auditing and reflection pushes us to continue to look at different ways we can ensure your pets’ anaesthetic is as safe as it can be. Post op wounds and complications are graded and recorded to make sure we are constantly improving. Every 4 – 6 weeks the small animal vets get together to discuss cases and learn new things. We are also required by the RCVS to do a set number of hours learning through continuous professional development but many of our vets end up doing a lot more than the required 35 hours a year!
